About Barbara
Barbara recognized Real Estate as her first love in 1981 and the rest is history. In 1999, Premier Properties by Barbara Alexander became a branchise office of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and has been offering creative Real Estate solutions in and around North Central West Virginia and Southwest Pennsylvania ever since.
As Broker/Owner, Barbara contributes to her profession through involvement in numerous committees, associations and boards. Named as “Realtor of the Year” by her peers in 1996, Barbara has gone on to serve as President of the West Virginia Association of Realtors in 2000 and was appointed Regional Vice President of Region 3 of the National Association of Realtors in 2003. Recognized for her accomplishments in West Virginia Executive Magazine as one of West Virginia’s “Top Young Executives” she has served on the board of Your Community Foundation, is a Charter Member and served on the board of the Monongahela Valley Bank. Currently, Barbara chairs the West Virginia University Cancer Institute Leadership Council, along with serving on the board for the West Virginia Medicine Children’s Leadership Council. She was recently recognized by her local Board of Realtors receiving The President’s Award for 2019, and in 2017 given the Outstanding Achievement Award, which recognized Barbara for her lifetime of work in the real estate industry and her community.
